Cloud Readiness:  Working with business stakeholders to build a cloud vision to know and understand all the benefits and the actual value of each cloud project. 

Data Governance: created the process of managing the availability, usability, integrity, and security of the data and produced the internal data standards and policies that also control data usage. Setup policies ensure that data is consistent and trustworthy, and not misused.

Application Rationalization: Set up policies and procedures to review applications’ value to organizations to prevent application sprawl from reducing supporting non-critical applications. 

IT Asset Management Hardware / Software: Utilizing programs for asset management of hardware and software assets across enterprises. Which helps understand better where the assets are and how effective they are for the enterprise. 

Cybersecurity Awareness: Created training programs to make employees aware of security threats such as phishing, ransomware, and viruses and how to handle them. 

Vendor Management: Created a process to review the performance of vendors, negotiate better services and understand their usefulness to the organization. 

Change Management Process (Human Side): Working with end-users to educate and help them understand new changes, setting up a transparent process so everyone knows what is happening.

Mr. Taffet holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College and a master’s degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. Greg serves on the board of the South Florida Digital Alliance and the CIO Council of South Florida.
